Robert Half is looking to hire a Sales Executive to own and grow the Eastern, NC market! This role will have a territory from Raleigh to the coast. This is an established territory where account management will be just as important as new business development.
Responsibilities
- Creating customer demand in specific assigned accounts by having direct contact on a weekly basis for current customers, making cold/warm calls on a weekly basis to create demand with new accounts, and assisting marketing and telesales in events and other demand generation programs as required
- Act as primary general sales contact and oversee all general activity within assigned territory
- Define and qualify initial opportunities within the assigned accounts and assist
- customers in bringing these specific opportunities to an engagements
- Engage with Inside Sales Representatives, Solution Specialists, and other personnel to define qualified opportunities and ensure proposals and quotes are delivered accurately and professionally.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales - preferably technology sales
- Understanding of technology – preferably network tools, LAN,WAN any cabling work etc
- Experience selling technology services
- Exposure to working in k-12 is a huge plus
- Any experience working as an integrator or with in the past is a HUGE plus
